Mac Mail certificate errors

Many users of Mac Mail encounter certificate errors, with the software complaining of something like "Verify Certificate - The identity of mail.xxxxxx cannot be verified"

Our server uses something called a self-signed certificate, as do most servers for custom domain names and custom email addresses.  Your software doesn't know about this certificate, so you just need to tell it that's it is valid and trusted.
